2008 Moose Season
There are thousands of hunters that have applied since the start of the Maine Moose hunt in 1980. If you get to this screen because your name is on the list, then luck was with you.
Northridge Outfitters offers hunts in WMDs 18 and 19. Whether you have been selected for a bull or cow permit you will find that these zones offer trophy animals. If you decide to chose a guide for your hunt, consider Northridge. We have modern lodge accommodations, home-cooked meals, fully guided hunts and transportation during your hunt. You may arrive the Sunday afternoon before the hunt and leave the Sunday after the hunt. We suggest that you arrive as early as possible in order to get you familiar with the land in the Maine woods and to do a final scout for your trophy. Northridge will take only a few hunters for the short season. This is why we have had a 100% opportunity rate in past years. The availability is going to be on a first contact basis. The hunt includes, for the permit holder and subpermittee, home-cooked meals, 7 nights lodging, fully guided hunt and preparing your game for butchering. The price structure is $2,500.00. This is for the permit holder and subpermittee. There is a $650.00 deposit due at time of booking and the balance when you arrive at camp. Any additional members of your party will be charged on a per night basis for the meals and lodging. You will be transported in our trucks during the hunt, however, depending on the size of your hunting party it may be necessary for you to bring another vehicle to accommodate everyone comfortably. During the October hunt you can also hunt Ruffed Grouse. If you are just looking for lodging and plan to hunt on your own there will be a per night fee that will include meals and lodging.
